Centra
A partnership built on innovation.
From store identities and illuminated signage to bespoke retail structures, 3:rock brings technical design, print, metal fabrication, carpentry and installation together in-house.

CREATE : MANUFACTURE : DELIVER
Built around each store.
3:rock and the Centra brand have grown together. Our teams manage each stage, from the initial concept and engineered specification through to manufacture and installation.
Our specialist print, metal fabrication and carpentry facilities allow us to deliver complete in-house builds, rather than simply supplying components. It is an approach that has seen us work on multiple Centra Store of the Year award-winning stores.
New product development is part of that work: taking a retailer’s idea, resolving the structure and detailing, and building a finished piece that works within the store.
STORE BY STORE
Across the Centra estate.

CASTLETYMON, TALLAGHT
Jordan’s Centra Castletymon
3:rock created the original Jordan’s logo, with a central element celebrating Alan Jordan’s years of service to the Centra brand. Our metal fabrication team brought it to life as a bespoke push-through lightbox: heavier illuminated letterforms with finely fret-cut liner details, finished with face and halo illumination. Castletymon is Alan’s Store of the Year winner, and part of a partnership that also spans Centra Caragh, Rathcoole, Blessington and Curragh Grange.

DRUMCONDRA
Jordan’s Centra Drumcondra — The Library
The building had previously served as the local library. Rather than erasing that history, 3:rock embraced it — from bookshelf-inspired architectural and joinery features to the external tagline “The Library”. Historic photographs of the local area were curated and integrated throughout the store, acting as natural talking points for customers. Store of the Year Winner 2025.

STILLORGAN
Rushes Centra Stillorgan
On the storefront, 3:rock first clad the structural pillars in aluminium before designing and delivering a fully illuminated fascia. Built-up, face-lit aluminium lettering and precision fret-cut fascia panels give the Centra brand and the Rushes signature logo equal prominence. Inside, the entire store perimeter is illuminated, making wayfinding clear and intuitive.

DUNGARVAN
Garvey’s Centra Dungarvan
In 2025 the Garvey Group delivered one of the largest forecourt developments in the country, expanding their Maxol forecourt and rebuilding a new Centra behind the existing site. 3:rock refined and modernised the brand crest and designed a completely new totem concept. Capital letter heights were increased to suit the high ceilings, so the signage feels balanced and architecturally aligned with the space. Our partnership with the Garvey Group has also delivered Store of the Year wins at Centra Newcastle West and SuperValu Listowel.

ABBEYSTOWN
Centra Abbeystown
Bold letters such as Butcher, Bakery and Good on the Run, integrated feature graphics and illuminated wall signage are positioned to create intuitive wayfinding and visual rhythm. Clearly defined zones and departments help customers move effortlessly through the space, improving dwell time and engagement.

BETTYSTOWN
Pat’s Centra Bettystown
Following the fire that destroyed the store, 3:rock played a key role in its refurbishment and reopening, delivering a refreshed, modern retail environment and a new off-licence framework developed entirely in-house.

SCHULL
Brosnan’s Centra Schull — Mood ice cream unit
A purpose-built retail feature combining branding, structure and function. Working from concept visuals through detailed technical drawings, the raft was engineered around existing services, lighting and ceiling constraints, with a precision-engineered metal frame and integrated canopy and signage zones — engineered, manufactured and installed entirely in-house.
BETTYSTOWN
From drawing to shop floor.
Following the fire that destroyed Pat’s Centra in Bettystown, 3:rock helped with the refurbishment and reopening of this community store.
The new off-licence framework was designed and manufactured entirely in-house. Its architectural form, integrated signage and illumination clearly define the department while fitting the surrounding store layout.
Making the framework ourselves gave us control over scale, proportions and detailing, from the technical drawings to the final installation.

ENNIS : KILCOCK
A framework for fresh food.
Continuous overhead cage systems bring several departments into one structure. Illuminated category signs identify the Deli, Hot Food and Green Kitchen, making long food-to-go and refrigerated runs easier to navigate.
Designed and manufactured in-house, the frameworks balance visibility, brand consistency and durability across extended elevations.

CLARINA
Details that bring it together.
At Centra Clarina, a custom yellow box-section cage and lettering connect the Gourmet Counter with the main shop floor. Reverse-printed acrylic discs add another layer to the counter signage.
The Grill combines a suspended ventilation alteration with a copper-mesh sign. Bespoke metalwork, print and lettering are developed as part of the retail space, not as separate additions.

BLACKCASTLE : DUNGARVAN
Standout pieces. One identity.
For McGuirk’s Centra in Blackcastle, Navan, 3:rock developed a bespoke logo and delivered the store’s complete signage package. A 12-metre “McGuirk’s Freshly Prepared for you” MarketDeck brings branding, structure and signage together around the fresh food offer.
From large interior features to exterior totem signage, the same technical design and fabrication teams carry the store identity through every piece.
