Responsibilities

Our environment

At 3:rock, we are committed to being responsible for the impact our business makes on the environment. We aim to be environment-friendly and sustainable wherever possible, and we advise our clients on selecting materials and processes that reduce their environmental impact.

We source innovative, sustainable materials and production solutions to offer more environmentally responsible solutions for our clients.

We have set an objective to become formally accredited to ISO 14001:2015 (the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system) within the next three years

Our current environmental lifecycle thinking encompasses the following critical aspects of our business and touches every facet of our business:

  1. Strategic Lifecycle Thinking.
  2. Materials Sourcing.
  3. Transport.
  4. Logistics.
  5. Operations.
  6. Material Upcycling.
  7. Waste Recovery.
  8. Measure, Monitor and Improve.

We have a limited packaging and reduced waste philosophy.

Healthy and Safety

The health and safety of our team, our clients, and the public is paramount when we conduct our business.

Each member of our staff is aware of his/her responsibilities under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the Safety Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006.

Our installation and maintenance teams provided a comprehensive nationwide project team to include the following services:

  • Site surveys.
  • Project management.
  • Installation.
  • Maintenance and repair service.

A specific risk assessment is carried out for each project, and a method statement submitted for approval where required. In addition, we are aware as Contractors of our obligations under Section 17 (3) of the Safety Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005 to ensure so far as is reasonably practicable that the project ‘is constructed to be safe and without risk to health and that it complies in all respects, as appropriate, with the relevant statutory provisions.

Community

We are proud supporters of our local community in Clondalkin and the broader region, Dublin. We work with local charities that support families in the community. If you like to talk to us further about how we do this or want to get involved, contact us, and we’d be delighted to talk about what we do.
